Our apples with speck filling are a new version of the old traditional baked apples: these have a speck and bread filling inside.
The irresistible red

Our Red apples, red outside and white in the inside, have a sweet and intense flavour, never too tart. Enjoy them fresh or in sweet or savoury recipes.

Rinse and core the apples.
Slightly enlarge the centre hole, so to create more room for the filling. Line the centre holes with two slices of speck, crossing them on the bottom.
In a bowl, season the crumbled bread with salt, pepper and thyme.
Toss the ingredients with some extra virgin olive oil.
Fill in the apples letting the end tips of the speck slices overflow from the border.
Lay the apples on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180° C for 20/25 minutes.
